Brother, the renowned Japanese sewing machine manufacturer, will be soon launching its much-awaited IoT software.
This was announced by the company’s Vietnam team at the recently concluded HanoiTex 2018.
Speaking exclusively to Team Apparel Online, Yusuke Nozaki, Director, Brother International (Vietnam) Co., Ltd., averred that the IoT software is currently on trial and the company intends to launch it soon in the market.
He expressed happiness at the curiosity that the software has been generating among visitors at the fair. “Through this software, the management of any apparel firm can not only see how many pieces are being made but also check the working condition of the sewing machines,” averred Kawai Ryo, Senior Sales Manager, Brother International (Vietnam) Co., Ltd., while conforming to what Nozaki said.
The IoT software, therefore, focusses on enhancing the production efficiency in addition to improving the quality of the product. Besides, the software also gives provisions to the team to not only identify the errors but also resolve those errors easily. Nozaki further added that though their competitors too may have similar software, the IoT software of Brother is more user-friendly, which can be seen from the increased interest among industry experts. He said that Brother is into its 110th year and is still going strong, which speaks of its continual commitment to quality and innovation.
