Japan’s Shima Seiki Mfg. Ltd., the leading flat knitting solutions provider, will be organising private exhibitions in Vietnam soon.
In partnership with Phenitex Co. Ltd., its sales representative in Vietnam, the technology giant will hold these shows in Hanoi from 21 to 23 October and then in Ho Chi Minh City from 6 to 8 November 2019.
And yet again the best of technological innovations will be at display!
One of the biggest attractions at the private shows will be MACH2VS WHOLEGARMENT knitting machine. Evolved from MACH2S, it takes forward machine’s capability to knit in a range of production styles. As a conventional shaping machine, it is capable of all-needle knitting in its available range of 8 to 16 gauge, whereas WHOLEGARMENT knitwear can be produced in half-gauge fabrics.
The R2CARRIAGE system, which yields quicker carriage returns for greater efficiency, now features a lighter carriage for even higher productivity. MACH2VS is even capable of gaugeless knitting where a number of different gauges can be knit into a single garment. A new full-colour touchscreen monitor also improves on operator ergonomics.
Besides, there will be demonstrations on Shima Seiki’s latest version of its SDS-ONE APEX series 3D design system.
And what else! SDS-ONE APEX4 will be making its debut in Vietnam, with processing speeds for WHOLEGARMENT programming and simulation being 6 times faster than that of APEX3.
Additionally, APEX4 features AI functions for optimised searching among its vast archives of patterns and designs.
At the core of the company’s ‘Total Knitting System’ concept, APEX4 integrates knit production into one smooth and efficient workflow from yarn development, product planning and design to machine programming, production and even sales promotion.
Especially effective is APEX4’s capability to improve the planning process with Virtual Sampling. Photo-realistic simulation capability minimises the need for sample-making, effectively reducing time, cost and material from the sampling process to achieve smart, speedy and sustainable production.
