K&N Apparel Ltd., launched early this year, is a trading company that intends to focus on providing solutions to customers to manage their supply chain flow in Vietnam.
The company is mainly into outerwear, underwear, activewear, kidswear and going forward plans to venture into denim as well. In a candid discussion with Team Apparel Resources, Helen Bui, CEO, K&N Apparel Ltd., said that the company offers services such as fabric sourcing, trim sourcing, garment sourcing and logistics and is expecting to leave its mark in Vietnam soon. The company is currently associated with 20 compliant factories in Vietnam.
Corroborating the same, Helen says that K&N Apparel takes FOB from customers and gives cut and make (CM) to its associated factories. “If the customer directly works with FOB factory, the cost of handling is very high,” remarked Helen.
While underlining that denim has a good future in Vietnam, Helen said that many-a-times workers prefer working in knit and woven factories than denim factories, as it is easy to work in factories that handle woven and knit products because of less complexities.
In a short span of time, K&N Apparel has managed to win some esteemed clients like Walmart, Target, and JCPenny among several others.
