The German-based AMANN Group, one of the leading producers of high-quality sewing and embroidery threads in the world, is all set to expand into Vietnam.
The company, which already has production sites in countries like Augsburg, Great Britain, Czech Republic, Romania, Bangladesh and China, will open its new production site on a 45,000 m² ground in the coastal city of Đà Nẵng.
The facility will produce sewing threads for manufacturing garments and shoes with a total annual capacity of 2,300 tons.
The construction was initiated on 27 July 2018 with a groundbreaking ceremony that was attended by AMANN’s executive board, Bodo Th. Bölzle and Wolfgang Findeis.
The production is scheduled to commence in the middle of 2019.
As with all their overseas production sites, AMANN places great value on construction using state-of-the-art equipment, especially in terms of worksafety and environmental compatibility.
Through this strategically important step, the German global player is setting the track for further growth and success.
