The 2021 edition of China International Sewing Equipment Exhibition (CISMA) has been postponed as new round of COVID-19 is impacting businesses and travelling yet again.
The show that was initially scheduled to be held from 26 to 29 September 2021 in Shanghai (China) will now take place from 7 to 10 January 2022 at the same venue – SNIEC.
According to show organiser China Sewing Machinery Association (CSMA), the resurgence in COVID-19 cases has been substantially brought under control at present thanks to the effective measures taken by the Chinese Government.
However, as the following month will be the touchstone of national pandemic containment efforts, after rounds of prudent analysis, CSMA has announced the postponement at the advice of Shanghai Municipal Health Commission, so as to guarantee the wellbeing of the exhibitors and visitors, and secure better exhibition effects.
“The established services and plans will be delayed accordingly, and we feel terribly sorry for any inconvenience to you,” commented CSMA.
CSMA believes that the postponement will open a new window for the exhibitors to figure out the current trends, and prospect for new market demand. It also lays a solid foundation for the exhibitors to counter the complicated situations in a calmer manner, and offset the adverse influence caused by the pandemic to the most extent.
