Shima Seiki, the globally renowned Japan-based computerised cutting machine manufacturer, will yet again grace the Vietnam Saigon Textile & Garment Industry Expo, better known as SaigonTex. SaigonTex 2019 is scheduled to be held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam from 10th to 13th April.
The company will be showcasing its much talked about P-CAM183 multi-ply computerised cutting machine (NC cutting machine) that is known for its extraordinary speed and high efficiency. These machines are best suited in a wide range of industrial applications besides textiles and garments.
One of the core highlights of the machine is its capability to allow up to 3 inches (80 mm) of fabric or material to be cut while the standard turbo fan suppresses fluctuation in air pressure for stable multi-ply cutting.
A knife-sharpening system produces a sharp and strong blade and the strong, robust components allow faster response times for knife movement and more accurate cutting for thick fabrics like denim.
The event will also be graced by Shima Seiki’s SDS-ONE APEX3 computer design system. The machine supports all aspects of textile design and enables smooth and efficient workflow from patternmaking, grading and marking to cutting. It also helps in colourway evaluation, realistic 3D simulation and final product images and thereby helps saving time and cost.
Besides, the company will be displaying the new PGM software that features newly organised functions and menu layout for a better intuitive interface thereby resulting in 40 per cent higher productivity (on average).
There will also be the highly efficient ‘AutoMarking Premium’ nesting software, as well as barcode generation for efficient marker generation and pick-up.
