Here’s good news for all Uniqlo lovers in Vietnam!
The fast fashion brand from Japan will be opening its maiden store in the country by the end of this year.
The store, spread over an area of 3,000 square metres, will be located at Parkson Saigon Tourist Plaza in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.
The shoppers will be able to now purchase the best of menswear, womenswear and kidswear from the new store, which will one of the biggest Uniqlo stores in Southeast Asia.
Once the Uniqlo store is launched in the country, it is expected to enhance the competition between other major fashion brands like Zara and H&M, which arrived in Vietnam few years back.
Nevertheless, it’s a great time for fashion shoppers in the country, with best of the biggest brands coming to Vietnam.
Earlier this month, Uniqlo had established its Vietnam business with a charter capital of US $ 8.8 million, with apparel company Fast Retailing Singapore owning a 75 per cent stake and Japan’s Mitsubishi Corporation owning the remaining stake.
Uniqlo intends to have 400 stores in Southeast Asia by 2022.
