Advantage Partners, a Japan-based investment firm, has bought Elise Fashion Limited, Vietnam’s prominent fashion brand for women.
Reportedly, the deal was made for an undisclosed amount.
Advantage Partners said they were attracted by Elise’s high-quality products, which were not only ethical but also held a leading position in women’s fashion market. The vast experience of Advantage Partners in ladies fashion could help Elise boost its growth and therefore the acquisition holds immense significance.
Elise is a renowned Vietnamese fashion brand that has been integrating its operations from design and production to sales at all its retail outlets. The brand currently has 95 stores all over Vietnam.
It is important to note that the Japanese company had previously invested in fashion firms like Meganesuper and outdoorwear chain ISG ishii-sports.
Late last year, Uniqlo, another famous Japanese fast retailer, planned to buy 35 per cent stake in Elise, though there has been no further confirmation on this.
