Over 30 prominent apparel manufacturers of Vietnam will be displaying the best of their products at the upcoming Global Sources Fashion show in Hong Kong, which is one of the largest exhibitions of Asia.
The one-stop sourcing show will be held at AsiaWorld-Expo from 27 to 30 April 2019 and will witness participation from several countries including Vietnam, China, India, Bangladesh, Taiwan, South Korea and hosts Hong Kong, among many others.
Among several Vietnamese companies participating at the exhibition are the Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (VITAS) and Vietnam National Textile and Garment Group (Vinatex). Besides, the Handicraft and Wood Industry Association of HCM City will also be there at the event.
The products to be displayed at the show range from apparels, fabrics, underwear and swimwear to scarves and bags, which are bound to attract nearly 12,000 buyers from 150 countries including USA, Europe, South Africa, Middle East, Japan and others.
On Vietnam’s active participation at the show, Pham Thiet Hoa, Director, Ho Chi Minh City Investment and Trade Promotion Centre (ITPC), reportedly said “ITPC is fully supporting exhibitors to participate in Global Sources Fashion show as a part of its mission to not only help businesses in Vietnam flourish but also lure more foreign investment into Vietnam.”
Industry-related conferences and fashion shows will be the other major highlights of the show.
