Missguided, the British fast fashion brand, has launched its first store in Vietnam in its bid to expand internationally.
The store is located at the beautiful Saigon Centre Mall in Ho Chi Minh City and comes closely in the wake of shutting down of brand’s flagship outlet in Westfield Stratford City (London) in February 2019.
The London store was also the premier brick-and-mortar store for the the brand. Notably, the only store Missguided is left with in UK is the one at Bluewater shopping centre in Kent.
The brand’s entry into Vietnam yet again highlights relevance of the growing Vietnam market among leading fashion brands.
In its endeavour to expand globally, Missguided recently opened its first franchise outlet in Dubai too. In a partnership with retail group Azadea, the brand is all set to launch many stores, websites as well as click-and-collect services in UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Egypt, Jordan and Lebanon.
In its latest released results, Missguided reported an operating loss of £37.7 million for the year leading to 1 April 2018, which is much less than the profit of £580,000 in 2016-2017.
