Vietnam remains the largest among the 21 suppliers from Asia for Odlo, one of the pioneers of high-performance sportswear brand.
This was highlighted in the latest sustainability report released by the brand. According to the report, Odlo works with as many as 6 suppliers in Vietnam.
Among the Asian suppliers of Odlo, Vietnam constitutes an impressive value share of 28.3 per cent. It is important to note here that Sri Lanka, which is the second largest Asian supplier for the brand, has a value share of only 9.8 per cent.
Thailand comes a distant third at 4.1 per cent.
Vietnam’s volume share, among all Asian suppliers of Odlo, also stands at an imposing 17.8 per cent, whereas Sri Lanka and China are far behind with just 9.3 per cent and 4.2 per cent, respectively.
Some of the prominent Vietnamese suppliers for the brand are Delta Galil Industries Ltd., SEES Global Inc., Shin Textile Solutions Co. Ltd., Yehpattana Tayeh among others.
The Switzerland-based Odlo has been producing functional sportswear for over 70 years and has the credit of inventing functional sports underwear and three-layer principle dressing. Odlo is the European market leader in terms of functional sports underwear.
