Vietnam’s premium e-commerce firm Leflair has announced that Loic Gautier will be returning to the company as CEO, following the company’s acquisition by Society Pass, also known as SoPa.
The online firm also announced that Ngo Thi Cham will be working along with Loic Gautier as Leflair’s new COO.
It is worth stating here that Ngo Thi Cham is presently the Vietnam country head of SoPa, in addition to being the Managing Director of Leflair.
It was Loic who founded Leflair back in 2015 to cater to the growing middle class community in Vietnam by offering over 2,300 luxury brands via flash sale.
However, owing to pandemic menace, Leflair had to file for bankruptcy in 2020 – eventually getting acquired by SoPa and relaunched in Vietnam late last year.
Loic in his role will oversee the brand’s growth and expansion strategy to other Southeast Asian countries, besides managing the upcoming acquisitions to foray into smaller segments within the retail industry.
Welcoming back Loic, Ray Liang, CFO, SoPa, said “The new recruitment also enables us to carry out a bigger plan for Leflair, evolving from a single online platform to become a true ecosystem for lifestyle shopping.”
