
Bao Minh Textile JSC will be officially inaugurating its textile factory today at Bao Minh Industrial Park in the province of Nam Dinh. The construction of the factory had started in March last year.
Made with an investment of US $ 75.2 million, the factory is expected to make significant contribution to Vietnam’s supply of garment materials.
Bao Minh textile factory specialises in manufacturing high quality woven fabrics, fibre and textile finishing. The factory recently conducted a trial run where it showcased its ability to make 30 million metres of fabric and also 7,200 tonnes of yarn annually.
The factory, equipped with latest machines, is one of the largest manufacturers of woven fabric in North Vietnam. Besides, the factory will be engaged in everything associated with textile from fibre processing to dyeing and finishing.
The production chain in the factory focuses on woven fabrics for shirts, 70 per cent of which is from yarn dye, while 30 per cent is from piece dye.
Notably, the first 9 months of 2018 witnessed the export turnover of garments and textiles reach US $ 20 billion, and in all probability, the figures are expected to touch the projected US $ 35 billion by year end.
