DyeCoo, utilising waterless dyeing technology at CleanDye’s Vietnam factory, has been confirmed to slash greenhouse gas emissions by 58 per cent, according to a study commissioned by Adidas.
This research aligns with Adidas’ quest to endorse low-carbon textile colouration methods, highlighting the significance of DyeCoo’s supercritical CO2 dyeing in sustainable fashion.
This innovation not only curtails carbon emissions but also mitigates water pollution, marking a pivotal step for eco-conscious fashion production. Adidas intends to seamlessly integrate CO2 dyeing into its manufacturing process.
This revelation coincides with growing global interest in DyeCoo’s technology, with countries like Turkey, Vietnam, India, Bangladesh, and Central America, as well as major international brands, embracing it to shrink their carbon footprints.
DyeCoo’s CO2 dyeing also offers a vibrant color palette while maintaining consistency in large-scale production, all without compromising quality or cost.
Kasper Nossent, commercial director at DyeCoo commented, “We are thrilled about this report and that CO₂ dyeing is gaining momentum in textile manufacturing. We look forward to expanding our technology beyond our current customers to other factories around the world in collaboration with our brand partners.”
