According to statistics released by OTEXA, the USA imported US $ 359.63 million worth of underwear in Jan. ’22 – noting 15.16 per cent surge from Jan. ’21.
China yet again started a year being on top of tally, Bangladesh and Vietnam are catching up fast, and India remained just marginally decent in its exports to the US.
The US imports of underwear from China valued US $ 78.47 million in January ’22, noting 11 per cent Y-o-Y growth.
Vietnam tapped US $ 73.76 million from its underwear exports to its largest export destination and noted 23.15 per cent surge on yearly note in Jan. ’22.
Bangladesh too performed well and noted 45.15 per cent yearly growth in February ’22 to clock US $ 49.73 million from its underwear exports to USA, while India’s yearly growth remained marginal (9.52 per cent) to US $ 27.48 million in underwear shipment to the US in Jan. ’22.
