The USA has imported US $ 723.68 million worth of underwear in Jan.-Feb. ’22, according to the latest figures released by OTEXA.
The imports were 21.85 per cent higher than the corresponding period of 2021 when a total of US $ 593.93 million worth of underwear were sourced by the US buyers.

The US imports of underwear from China valued US $ 163 million in Jan.-Feb. ’22, noting 23.59 per cent Y-o-Y growth, whereas the underwear imports from Vietnam rose 32.97 per cent Y-o-Y to US $ 146.32 million.
Bangladesh and India shipped underwear worth US $ 80.07 million and US $ 55.48 million respectively, growing by 33.67 per cent and 10.58 per cent.
However, Sri Lanka faced heat as US underwear buyers restricted sourcing from the country and, as a result, its shipment to USA dropped by 4.71 per cent to US $ 47.63 million.
