After a dismal 2020 in brassieres imports, US buyers have given some reasons to the manufacturers to cheer in the first month of 2021.
According to OTEXA, USA imported US $ 214.34 million worth of brassieres in Jan. ’21, which is an increase of 16.15 per cent on year-on-year (Y-o-Y) basis.
In terms of quantities, the brassieres imports were up by 26 per cent in Jan. ’21 to 5.63 million dozen.
As far as major brassieres manufacturing countries are concerned, China, Vietnam, Indonesia and Bangladesh upped their respective exports to USA both value-wise and volume-wise.
