US swimwear imports have increased by 36.36 per cent to US $ 937.57 million during January to May 2022 period, as per OTEXA.
The imports have already surpassed the values of 2020, while 2021’s swimwear import values are about to be touched, as suggested by data.
Analysing the data further, Apparel Resources found that USA imported US $ 285.74 million worth of swimwear from China, noting 44.93 per cent Y-o-Y growth.
Vietnam’s swimwear export to USA was as high as US $ 270.95 million and remained positive as it grew 29.29 per cent on yearly basis.
Indonesia was the third largest swimwear shipper to the USA and the country exported US $ 97.50 million worth of swimwear to USA in the first five months of 2022.
Bangladesh grabbed fourth spot with US $ 59.24 million worth of swimwear shipment to USA in 2022’s Jan-May period, noting 86.93 per cent yearly growth.
