‘Integrated marketing solutions’ is key to Vietnam’s garment exporters going global.
At a recently concluded event, several industry experts said that garment industry needs aforementioned integrated marketing solutions, comprising online and offline platforms, to expand its reach worldwide.
The apparel exporters need to engage in as many trade promotion platforms as possible to enhance linkages with global buyers.
This, experts believe, will not only help exporters build their corporate image but also generate sales leads.
And, that’s what every exporter eyes for!
More on this, Ronald Ng, General Manager, Global Sources Lifestyle Group, said “Besides trade shows, online platforms also contribute in increasing exports to world market.”
While online platform helps buyers to check supplier’s capability, offline platform brings suppliers and buyers face to face and helps building trust.
Pham Thi Huong, former MD, Vietnam National Textile and Garment Group (Vinatex) said “Many Vietnamese products have good quality and competitive prices, but global buyers are not even aware of them since they are not available online. Exporters need to promote products through exhibitions and online platforms.”
