Earlier this week (30 September), Phong Phu International Joint Stock Company, or PPJ, Vietnam signed a cooperation agreement with Wiser Globe BV in Ho Chi Minh City to set up PPJ Wiser Company.
Wiser Globe BV firm will closely work with PPJ to take solid steps in implementing cooperative commitments towards latest production technology that will be smart as well as environment-friendly.
Both the companies, through this agreement, also intend to inspire other textile companies in Vietnam work towards matching world’s green consumption trend.
More on the agreement, a PPJ representative said “Nearly 2 billion jeans are annually produced worldwide, and about 70-80 litres of water is needed to produce 1 jeans. This means we consume 160 billion (80 L X 2 billion) litres of water annually.”
The representative further said “With this signing event, we are partnering with like-minded organisations who share and believe in our dreams to make the world a better place. PPJ Wiser will be a benchmark to revolutionise washing process and change global manufacturing landscape.”
Wiser Globe BV, recently awarded the GREEN APPLE award for sustainability, is the pioneer of Wiser Wash Technology.
It is worth noting that in last 11 years, 16,000 employees of PPJ with passion and dedication have made PPJ become the largest manufacturer of denim jeans in Vietnam.
