After opening its first store in Ho Chi Minh City late last year, fast fashion retailer Uniqlo is all set to open its second store in the country.
And this time it’s in Hanoi!
The Japanese fashion label will enter the city in early March. This was confirmed by Koyama Noriaki, Vice President, Uniqlo Group, yesterday, during a meeting with Nguyen Duc Chung, Chairman, Hanoi People’s Committee.
The new store opens at Vincom Pham Ngoc Thach in the district of Dong Da.
And that’s not all! Going forward, Uniqlo plans to open 3 more stores in Hanoi and somewhere around 20 stores in the entire country.
In this regard, Koyama urged Hanoi authorities to help the Uniqlo Group find new locations in the country.
Expressing delight, Nguyen Duc Chung, said that both parties would initiate efforts to meet and sign the memorandum so as to help Uniqlo expand in Hanoi and in Vietnam.
He also said that brand’s vision to expand in the country will also open lot of job opportunities for the people of Hanoi.
